Make a Healing Doll for yourself or a child or a friend in need-- as a trained shaman and with degrees in dreamwork, psychology and mystery traditions you will be given the steps to create the doll (I prefer totem or talisman - or could it be talis-women?) and also ways to empower the object - for your personal altar or home ...it is an heirloom to pass on for your family. But through the process of our creating together a fabric totem doll (a simple easy doll) we will remember somatically Women's ancient Wisdom Ways of Making.

www.KristenaWestArt.com In 1998, I was driving through the red rock lands of Moab, Utah when I had a dream that changed everything. A Navajo woman came to me in the dream and said: “You must teach the story of the Twins. It is a Healing story for the People.” That dream marked the beginning of a spiritual journey I never could’ve predicted. In 1999, I traveled to the Four Corners and spoke with a Zuni elder in the Church of Guadalupe who listened to my story and simply said: “You have been touched.” This vlog is the first time I’m sharing that story publicly with the Healing Art. It’s deeply personal and comes from a place that’s hard to put into words—but it lives in my art. The story of the Twins isn't just mythology—it’s alive, and it speaks to us through symbols, dreams, and our own creative practice. My intention is to begin sharing pieces of that journey with you, in hopes it stirs something awake in your own path. More than anything, I want to show that art can be made with intention—that art itself can be a healing force. When we approach it with presence, with prayer, with a willingness to be moved, it carries something far beyond beauty. It carries medicine. May this story, and the works born from it, remind you that your hands, your dreams, and your voice can be vessels for healing too.
